The 57th Annual CMA Award

On Wednesday night, Nov. 8, the 2023 CMA Awards were held in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Several of the greatest names in country music stunned on the red carpet with their stunning appearances.

With nine nods, Lainey Wilson is the most nominated person this year. Wilson is the first performer to have two nominations for single of the year in the same year in thirteen years. Wilson is a nominee for both HARDY’s “Wait in the Truck” and “Heart Like a Truck.”

This year, Jelly Roll is nominated for five awards, including male artist of the year and new artist of the year. Following with four nominations apiece are Luke Combs and HARDY, Ashley McBryde, producer/mix engineer Jordan Davis, and Producer-songwriter Joey Moi Chris Stapleton, Jordan Schmidt, andDerek Wells, a musician and producer, and Morgan Wallen both received three nominations.

Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning will once again serve as the ceremony’s hosts. Among the ceremony’s notable performance highlights will be Morgan Wallen’s collaboration with Post Malone and HARDY on a number of timeless country hits. Jimmy Buffett, the late singer-songwriter, will be honored by Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Mac McAnally of the Coral Reefer Band, and Zac Brown Band.
